PROPOSED REVOCATION OF COMMUNITY LAND CLASSIFICATION

Pursuant to Section 194 of the Local Government Act 1999, the Council wishes to notify the community that it proposes to revoke the Community Land Classification of the following Council owned property, known as:

  • Undeveloped  Reserve  –  Allotment 41 Venn Terrace  Kingston  SE  (located between Matheson Street and Venn Terrace)

(Allotment 41 in Deposited Plan 10631, Certificate of Title Volume 5553 Folio 39).

The revocation of the community land classification is proposed as the land may be considered for disposal as it is considered surplus to Council’s requirements and under utilised by the community.

A copy of the Community Consultation Report is available to download below, or a copy can be obtained at the Council office, 29 Holland Street, Kingston SE SA 5275.

Written submissions are invited from interested persons and must be received by 5:00pm Wednesday, 8 August 2018. Submissions are to be directed to the Kingston District Council, PO Box 321, Kingston SE SA 5275, or emailed to rates@kingstondc.sa.gov.au.

PROPOSED BOUNDARY REALIGNMENT BARROWMAN RESERVE

The council wishes to notify the community that it proposes to undertake a boundary realignment of the following council owned property, known as:

  • Barrowman  Reserve  –  Allotment 1 South Terrace  Kingston  SE  (located between Cooke Street and Kingston Retirement Village)

(Allotment 1 in Deposited Plan 72378, Certificate of Title Volume 6017 Folio 376).

The boundary realignment of the community land parcel is proposed to gift 122m2 to the Kingston Retirement Village to support the construction of improved accessibility independent living units.
