Boat Ramps

Cape Jaffa Boat Ramp Facility - OPEN

Dredging at the Cape Jaffa Anchorage Marina has re-commenced. Full access to the marina remains in place however commercial and recreational fishers are asked to use caution when passing the dredge or pipework. Dredging of the retention area will be the focus until the pipe under the main channel (western breakwater to the eastern side) is in place. Dredging the retention area has the benefit of increasing the buffer within the marina therefore helping to protect the main channel. Once the channel pipe is in place work will commence on the outside of the western breakwater and will remain the priority dredging area.

Kingston Boat Ramp Facility - OPEN

17 April 2019
Council is pleased to advise that the Kingston Boat Ramp is NOW OPEN. Depths in the channel are currently good but please be aware that conditions in Maria Creek can change rapidly. Council has marked a safe navigation channel with green and yellow buoys, please use extreme caution when navigating the marked channel. If you notice a change in conditions, please notify council at your earliest convenience. Happy Fishing.
