Beach Access Mat (Mobi-Mat®)
Accessible beach matting (Mobi-Mat®) providing safe access to the beach, is located on Marine Parade adjacent to the Caravan Park.
Approximately 130 metres of sturdy matting is placed on top of soft sand, to enable wheeled mobility aids (such as wheelchairs or prams) and those who have difficulty walking to reach the firmer sand at the water's edge (subject to the constantly changing sand and tides).
The Beach Access mat is joined by 100 metres of hotmixed walking trail that is accessible from Marine Parade and also features 10 metres of parking at the beach end.
