Mayoral Christmas Parade 2026
We are delighted to once again bring the Kingston SE community some Christmas cheer by presenting the 2026 Mayoral Christmas Parade and Family Evening on Friday, 11 December 2026.
There are several ways you can get involved and be a part of our merry event:
Christmas Parade
Get your inner crafter and designer buzzing with a Christmas float entry. Whether your float may be Christmas themed or another dazzling idea, if you would like to participate, please complete the form below and return to the Council office by Friday, 20 November 2026.
This year, the Kingston SE Lions Club are kindly donating all prizes for the floats, as well as prizes for the best floats.
- 1st prize - $500
- 2nd prize - $300
- 3rd prize - $200
- and every registered float will receive a prize!
Register your float with Council before the Parade night to ensure you are eligible to win.

Lobster Trail
The Lobster Trail is a yearly favourite, where 200 Lobster Trail bags will be available for children to purchase. The bag will contain a map, leading young adventurers through the Lions Park to collect a small gift from each stall.

Stallholder
Are you a festive foodie? Invitations are open to showcase your cooking skills by holding a stall at this year’s Family Evening.
- Prior to the event a stall location map will be emailed to registered stallholders.
- On the night, we ask that stalls are set up prior to 5:00pm as road closures on Hanson Street will take effect from this time.
- Vehicles will not be able to enter or leave the Lions Park from 5:00pm until after the fireworks have finished.
