Nominate for Council
Becoming a Mayor or Councillor is an opportunity to contribute positively to the community. It's a rewarding and challenging role which requires commitment, responsibility and accountability.
To nominate, you must be an Australian citizen over 18 years old and either enrolled to vote in the council area or be the nominee of a body corporate or group whose name appears on the voters roll for the area.

Nominations are open for two weeks from Tuesday, 26 January to 12:00pm on Tuesday, 9 February 2027. No nominations will be accepted after the closing date.
