CAPE JAFFA MARINA WORKS
South East Coastal Care Initiative (SECCI) will commence sand management works at the Cape Jaffa Marina (western beach area) in the first week of June, subject to final approvals and weather conditions.
The works will involve the use of land-based excavation equipment to remove and relocate sand from the western side of the marina. This is part of ongoing efforts to maintain safe access and reduce sand build up entering the marina channel.
Work Area: The activity will take place on the western beach adjacent to the marina (refer to map/image).
Public Access: For safety, the work area will be temporarily closed to the public while works are underway.
Duration: Works are expected to run for several weeks, depending on conditions.
